Shipping, returns and terms

Packing

Every piece is unique and travels hand-packed, protected for ceramics: double wrapping, bubble wrap and a rigid box.

Courier

We choose the most suitable courier each time, depending on the destination and the parcel, among BRT, SDA and Poste Italiane. It is not a random choice: a plate and a tureen do not travel the same way.

Costs in Italy

€15 per order, free shipping over €150. For particularly heavy or bulky pieces — complete sets, large tureens, cast iron, furniture — the cost is agreed before shipping: we contact you first, and no charge appears after payment.

Delivery time

24-48 hours from dispatch, depending on the destination. Parcels leave within 1-2 working days of order confirmation.

Tracking

As soon as your parcel leaves you receive the tracking number by email, with a link to follow it.

Abroad

We also ship outside Italy. The cost depends on weight and destination country: write to info@vintageloversclub.com with the piece and your address, and we will send you an exact quote before you buy.

You have 14 days

From delivery you have 14 days to change your mind, without giving a reason: this is the right of withdrawal for online purchases.

How to request a return

Write to info@vintageloversclub.com with your order number and the piece. We reply within 2 working days with return instructions.

How to send it back

Pack the piece as it arrived — double wrapping and a rigid box — because ceramics travel fragile. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. If the piece is faulty or arrived broken, we pay them.

When the refund arrives

Within 14 days of receiving the return, using the same payment method as the purchase. We may withhold the refund until the piece reaches us.

Parcel arrived broken

It happens, and it is not your fault. Photograph the box and its contents and write to us within 48 hours: we refund or replace, depending on availability. The photos are for the courier claim, not to question your word.

One exception

Pieces made to order or personalised cannot be returned. They are very rare in our catalogue, and when it happens we state it on the product page.

The seller

What we sell

Vintage objects, mostly ceramics, faïence, porcelain and glass, selected one by one. These are used pieces, often decades old: signs of age, small wear and imperfections are part of their nature and are described on each product page. Dimensions are measured by hand. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

Prices and payments

Prices are in euro. Shipping is shown at checkout before payment and there are no hidden costs. Payments are handled by secure providers: we do not store your card details.

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from delivery to withdraw, as described on this page under Returns and refunds.

Legal guarantee

Objects are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery. For used goods, the presumption that a defect existed at delivery applies for 1 year. Defects declared on the product page are not considered faults.

Applicable law and complaints

Italian law applies. For any issue write to info@vintageloversclub.com: we reply within 2 working days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can turn to an ADR mediation body registered with the Italian Ministry of Enterprises (MIMIT). For purchases from another EU country you can contact the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
